As reported by NIAT "Khovar," this Agreement was signed at the Confucius Center with the participation of the leadership of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and representatives of Xinjiang Normal University of the People's Republic of China on January 27, 2024.

  By entering into this agreement, the parties will be able to continue cooperation in various areas, including monitoring and rational use of water resources, water-saving technologies and drinking water safety; nuclear energy; development and use of technologies in hydro power, wind, and solar energy; monitoring the consequences of climate change and corresponding response measures; ecology and environmental protection, including biodiversity protection, environmental protection, pollution control, and environmental safety; prevention and elimination of the consequences of natural disasters, and more.
