Doctor of Engineering Sciences,
Professor Azizov Rustam Ochildievich
In 1974, after graduating from secondary school No. 189 named after A. Dekhoti, Rudaki district (former Leninsky), he entered the Tajik Polytechnic Institute, specializing in 0501-"Mechanical engineering technology, metal-cutting machines and tools", which he completed in 1979. In the same year, he was hired as an assistant at the Department of Metal Technology and Occupational Safety.
In 1982, he entered the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute (Minsk) for an internship, simultaneously graduating from the specialized faculty according to the plans of the Belarusian State University of Science and Technology, specializing in "Powder metallurgy and composite materials". and received an engineer's diploma in the above specialty.
In 1983-1986, he studied in the postgraduate program of the Department of Metal Technology and Powder Metallurgy of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, in the fall of 1986 he graduated from the metallurgical faculty and metal science. In 1986, during the allotted time of study in the postgraduate program, he defended his candidate's dissertation on the topic of "Development of wear-resistant gas-flame coatings with increased adhesion strength".
After completing his postgraduate studies, from 1986 to 1996 he worked at the Department of Construction Materials Technology of the Tajik Technical University named after academician Osimi worked as an assistant, then as a senior lecturer, associate professor and head of the department (1990-1996; 2004-2006). November. In 1996, he was appointed dean of the faculty of mechanical engineering and held this position until November 2000.
In April 2018, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, at the Research Concern "Powder Metallurgy" on the topic "Strengthening of gas-thermal coatings based on iron by thermal diffusion saturation methods." The defense took place in 2004.
By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 03.06.2006 No. 224, he was appointed rector of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan and worked in this position until the end of 2013.
In 2014, he was appointed deputy president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and held this position until 2021. Currently, he works as the head of the department at the Center for Innovative Development of Science and New Technologies.
The main areas of activity of the department:
- development and implementation of innovative projects, including new technologies and developments that are important for the development of the country's industry;
- support and development of proposals in the field of using non-traditional renewable energy sources;
- encouragement of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities;
- participation in the organization and production of products in various areas of alternative energy;
- increasing the level of knowledge within the framework of scientific and technical developments by adopting technical solutions;
- providing advisory support and assistance in the development and creation of projects with innovative advantages that increase the efficiency of heat use methods for the population;
- development and application of integrated technologies for heating residential buildings based on the use of geothermal and solar heat.
Scientific achievements:
Development of technologies for strengthening machine parts and process equipment using gas-thermal spraying methods and subsequent chemical-thermal treatment. These technologies allow restoring and strengthening worn steel parts and have the following advantages:
- use of inexpensive materials to create a restored layer;
- simplicity of powder coating technology;
- increasing the performance properties of car parts (friction resistance and durability) by 2-3 times;
Technologies for installing equipment in foundations and precast concrete blocks for drilling deep and ultra-deep oil and gas wells. The use of this technology in drilling has the following advantages:
- reduced costs for the construction of foundation equipment, drilling and melioration work; elimination of the practice of leaving concrete foundations in the ground; reduction in the relative load of manual labor and the time required to set up drilling rigs at the workplace;
Development of environmentally friendly technologies for wastewater treatment using kaolin clay and the production of an adsorbent-coagulant for sorption purification of water from uranium ions and heavy metals.
Clay from local deposits is used to produce the adsorbent-coagulant (patent No. 1339).
Design work in the field of improving sandblasting equipment for processing the surfaces of steel machine parts, including the manufacture of nozzles for abrasive processing. The spiral shape of the inner surface of the nozzle promotes rotation of the abrasive vortex and allows processing complex shapes of surfaces of various metal products (patent No. 1056).
