Qodirov Anvar Saidkulovich

Kurgan-Tyube State University named after N. Khusrav. In 2006, he graduated from the university, specializing in chemistry and ecology.

In November 2006, he entered the full-time postgraduate program at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, which he graduated in 2009 in specialty 25.00.27 - Land Hydrology. Water resources and hydrochemistry.

He defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Formation and dynamics of the hydrological regime of the Vakhsh River basin of the Republic of Tajikistan" (05/20/2016).

Completed internships in the following countries: India (2009), Austria (2012 - 2013), China (2010, 2012, 2015), Kazakhstan (2012, 2015), Uzbekistan (2011 (2016), USA (2016).

Since 2009, he has been working as a laboratory assistant at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

From 2010 to 2013 - Researcher.

From 2013 to 2018 - Senior Researcher.

From 2018 - 15.08.2019 Director of the Laboratory of Ecology and Sustainable Development of the Institute of Water Resources, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

Areas of scientific interest: integrated water resources management, land hydrology, climate change and sustainable development.

Published 2 monographs and more than 50 scientific articles.

Participant of scientific events and competitions supported by ITEC (2009), UNESCO (2010), UNDP (2012), IAEA (2012), WMO-CAS (2013), START-CAS (2014), WBG (2015) programs.

Worked as a teacher at the Tajik State University of Commerce and Moscow Power Engineering University (branch in Dushanbe).

Local consultant of the TEMPUS-PERSEUS (2009-2011) and IAEA "TAD - 7001" projects (2012 - 2014), AASSA project manager (2012) under the auspices of "AASSA - ASRT".

Scholarship holder of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (2009); winner of the "Innovative Projects" competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan (2014).

From 2011 to the present, he is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Vestnik TsUK", since 2015 - a member of the International Journal of Geodesy and Geomathematical Engineering (ISSN 2332-8223, USA).

He is fluent in Russian and English.
